Inyou ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed and operated by Eugeniu Vozoca, based in Moldova. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Preferences: Theme, font, appearance mode, notification settings, preferred quote categories
Usage Statistics: Quotes viewed, saved, and shared; streaks and activity dates
Saved Quotes: Quotes you choose to save for later

This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us.

Analytics Data

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the app is used.

What TelemetryDeck collects:

A hashed, anonymous user identifier (not linked to your identity)
App open events
Feature usage (which screens are viewed, buttons tapped)
Subscription events
Basic device information (device type, OS version, app version)
Error reports

What TelemetryDeck does NOT collect:

Your name, email, or personal identifiers
Location data
Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
Data from other apps

TelemetryDeck may receive your IP address when data is transmitted, but it is immediately discarded and not stored. Country-level location may be derived from IP for aggregate statistics. TelemetryDeck is GDPR compliant and does not track users across apps or websites. For more information, see the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.

Legal basis (GDPR): We process this data based on our legitimate interest in understanding app usage to improve the product.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Inyou Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.

What RevenueCat receives:

Subscription status (active, expired, trial)
Product purchased
Transaction dates
Anonymous app user ID
Basic device information

What RevenueCat does NOT receive:

Your payment details
Your Apple ID or email
Personal information from your Apple account

RevenueCat may receive your IP address for fraud prevention and to determine your country for pricing purposes. For more information, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Legal basis (GDPR): We process this data based on contractual necessity to provide subscription features you purchased.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

Your name, email, or contact information
Your precise location
Advertising identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
Data from other apps on your device
Your browsing history
Any directly identifying personal information

Notifications

The app can send local notifications to remind you of daily quotes. These notifications are:

Scheduled entirely on your device
Not processed by external servers
Controllable through your device's Settings app

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. The only third-party services that receive data are:

Local data: Remains on your device until you delete the app

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect data:

All data transmitted to third-party services is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
Local data on your device is protected by iOS built-in security features
We do not operate servers that store your personal data

International Data Transfers

Analytics and subscription data may be processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States and European Union. Our third-party providers maintain appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Since we don't collect directly identifying personal data, most data cannot be linked to you. To delete local app data, simply delete the app from your device.

Children's Privacy

Inyou does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). The app contains no features that require personal information from any user. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or App Store update notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
